Dulze Growers and the University of Murcia have entered into a collaboration agreement to establish a University Chair in Intelligent Industry, the aim of which is to create a space dedicated exclusively to research, training and circulation in the field of technological innovation, made up of professors and students from the University of Murcia, as well as professionals from the sector.

José Ángel Sánchez, CEO of El Dulze Growers, and José Luján, rector of the University of Murcia, have signed the agreement in a ceremony held at the rector’s office in the University.

The Chair has been created to address technological challenges and innovation needs in industry through direct collaboration between study groups at the University of Murcia and companies. In addition, other companies and institutions interested in taking part in the project are welcome to collaborate.

The system established to implement the project will involve the creation of research projects, training in the form of seminars and specialised courses, research into new technologies and their impact on industry, and the presentation of the scientific results obtained, as well as the fostering of technological skills among the students, among other activities.

Through this project, Dulze Growers is helping to develop and strengthen industry and technology, with the aim of improving business productivity in the Region of Murcia.
